Insurance Claim Assistance
We document the damage, meet your adjuster at the property, and carry out the repairs the claim covers — so you are not explaining your own roof alone.
A storm claim is a conversation about a roof, held between two people who cannot see it: you, standing in the driveway, and an adjuster who is on the property for less than an hour. That is where most claim frustration comes from, and it is where a roofer is genuinely useful.
We have handled a lot of these. Here is how we work them. If you are not sure yet whether your roof was hit, start with storm and hail damage — that page covers what the damage looks like and when it is worth having someone up there.
Before the claim
We inspect the roof and photograph what we find — hail bruising and granule loss slope by slope, damage to soft metals, wind-lifted or missing shingles, and anything the storm did to gutters, siding, windows or the interior. That documentation exists before anyone calls the insurance company, so the conversation starts from evidence rather than memory.
We will also tell you if we do not think there is a claim. A roof at the end of its life is not a storm claim, and filing one anyway does not help you.
During the claim
You file the claim; it is your policy and your relationship with your carrier. When the adjuster schedules the inspection, we come out and meet them at the property. We walk the roof with them, point out what we documented, and make sure the areas we found damage on are the areas that get looked at.
After the adjuster’s report comes back, we go through the scope with you: what was included, what was missed, and whether the line items match the roof system you actually have. If something material was left out, we raise it with supporting photographs.
After the claim
Once the claim is settled, we do the work. That is the part that matters — the same company that documented the damage carries out the repair, so nothing gets lost in a handoff between an inspector, an estimator and a crew. Where the covered scope is a new roof, the roof replacement page explains how we run that job start to finish.
Storm claims often cover more than a roof. Interior ceiling and drywall repair, paint, gutters, siding, fencing and windows can all be part of the same restoration, and we handle those in-house rather than sending you to find three more contractors.
What we do not do
We are roofers, not public adjusters or attorneys, and we do not give legal or insurance advice. We cannot tell you what your policy covers, what your deductible is, or promise how your carrier will decide. What we can do is make sure the physical condition of your property is documented accurately and repaired properly.
Give us a call and we will start with an inspection, or tell us what happened through the contact form.
