Privacy Policy
This policy explains what Longhorn Roofing & Restoration does with the information you send through this website. It is written to describe how the site actually works, not to cover things it does not do.
What this site collects
The only way this website collects information about you is the contact form. If you do not submit the form, nothing about you is stored.
When you submit the contact form, we record:
- What you type: your name, email address, phone number, street address, city, the type of service you are asking about, and your message.
- Which page you submitted from, so we know what you were reading when you got in touch.
- Campaign parameters (commonly called UTM parameters) if they were present in the link you used to reach the site. These tell us where a visit came from — for example, a link in a printed flyer or a post on social media.
- Your browser's user agent string, which is the text your browser sends identifying itself and your device type. We use it to filter out automated spam submissions.
- A one-way hash of your IP address. Your raw IP address is not stored. What is stored is an irreversible hash of it, which lets us tell that several submissions came from the same source without us holding or being able to recover the address itself.
What this site does not collect
This site runs no analytics, no tracking pixels,no advertising tags and no chat widget. There is no third-party script watching what you read, how long you stay or where you go next. We do not build a profile of you, and we do not track you across other websites.
We do not knowingly collect information from children, and this site is not directed at them.
How we use what you send
We use it to answer you. Your submission is delivered to us so we can respond to your request, arrange an inspection or estimate, and carry out work if you hire us. If you become a customer, we keep the information as part of our record of that job.
We do not sell your information. We do not rent, trade or otherwise share it for anyone else's marketing, and we do not pass it to data brokers or advertising networks.
Who else is involved
Two service providers are involved in the ordinary operation of this site:
- A website hosting provider, which serves these pages and receives the form submission in order to pass it on.
- An email delivery provider, which sends your submission to us as an email so we see it.
Both handle your information only in order to provide that service to us. Neither is permitted to use it for their own purposes.
Separately, if you hire us and there is an insurance claim involved, we may share information about your property and the work with your insurance carrier or their adjuster — but only in connection with your own claim, and only where it is needed to get the work done.
How long we keep it
Inquiries that do not become jobs are kept while they are still useful for following up, and then deleted. If you become a customer, we keep the record of your job for as long as we need it for business and tax purposes. You can ask us to delete your information sooner — see below.
Your choices
You can ask us to tell you what information we hold about you, to give you a copy of it, to correct anything that is wrong, or to delete it. Texas residents, and residents of states with comparable privacy laws such as California, have these rights under state law; we extend them to anyone who asks.
We will not treat you differently for making a request. We may need to ask you for enough detail to find your record and confirm it is yours.
How to contact us about this policy
To make a request, or to ask anything about this policy, contact us:
- Longhorn Roofing & Restoration
- Burleson, TX
- (817) 733-4990
- Contact form
A request sent through the contact form gives us a written record of what you asked for, so that is the best route for a deletion or access request. Calling works too.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted on this page with a new last-updated date. Material changes to how we handle information will be reflected here before they take effect.
